OK, here we are at the end of May already. We had 266.43 miles for the first 4 weeks and marathon training hasn't even yet begun for some of you. I'm thinking that perhaps we ought to shoot for 250 miles/month. What d'ya think?
And tell us what you ran too while you're at it!

I ran a marathon on Saturday so 26.2 miles for me -- Yipee!!
Friday, I managed 6 miles on the road - and man, I couldn't believe how much huffing and puffing I was doing - the heat got to me. It was my first long run outdoors, so it taught me I need to do a few more outdoor runs before my race this weekend!
I think it is so funny. A friend came over last weekend and told me that I was so tan. I told him it was those outside runs!
250 miles per month will be easy for this group, I think.
I ran 13.22 miles on Sunday, June 1.
I agree, 250 is a good goal.
This weekend was light on the miles for me - My son had (oral)surgery Friday and was recovering over the weekend - and my husband had to go out of town.
Shirley - This is your call on calculations.
Saturday I ran twice - 5.5 miles and then another 3. So, it's 8.5 for the day, but I logged it as two separate runs.
Sunday, my husband arrived home an hour earlier than I expected. My planned 10 miles turned into 4.28.
Yep.. given that it is summer, 250 should be great!
I did 10 miles on Sunday.
I walked 13 miles yesterday. left at 5:45 in the morning and got back about 10am with some stops for potty, coffee and ran into a friend. I did come back dehydrated, thats not good.
10.5 miles on Saturday night for me. I also agree with a goal of 250 miles. :-)
Forgot to answer - well, sounds like 250 is a piece a' cake for this group for June.
So, June is our 3rd or 4 months, right? Any thoughts of wanting to continue thereafter?
OK, 250 will be our goal for June, which will be our 3rd month in the Run the World campaign. July will be the last month officially. We can certainly continue on our own but anyone else want to lead it? The Bar is keeping me really busy these days.
And Maddy, we'll count your 5.5 mile Saturday run to stick with counting only one run as the group run done over the weekend. Hope your son is recovering well!
Sorry I'm late! Put me down for 9.2 miles on Saturday. I finally broke my streak of 10 miles per week.
250 miles per month OK.
If it is just record keeping, I could do that.
If it is motivating, I am no where near as good at it as our friend Shirley is...
Btw - I counted 93.62 miles for last weekend.
Great job, Guys and Gals!
CewTwo, it's a little of both. Since the group is already established, the main things are posting weekly calls for mileages and counting up miles. But you'd be responsible for keeping the group moving forward on goals if previous goals become too easy so there's where some motivating may come in. I'm sure you or anyone else could do it, however.
93.62 miles is terrific! Let's see if WV Momma has more to add.
PS - 360.05 miles for the month of May!!
Sorry i'm late...I had a 4 mile run for the weekend.
