Let's Have a Great Holiday Weekend!

Well, it was a weekend.

It was the most comfortable run I have done in a while. It was great!

Susan! You are getting back up there! Congratulations!

Shirley - I like to run after the bike ride. Do you always save the run for after the ride?

Jim! What a noble thing! I am reading your blog next!

Westy! So sorry! I hated cutting back but I had to. Heal my friend! Heal! Good decision!

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Remember to report some moving experiences in the comments!

I did 15.56 miles, only problem, it was a 50k. I dropped at the start of the second loop to hopefully get healthy and run another day sooner. Same issue - left ankle and right achilles. Time to cross train and shorten things up for a while.

5.15 miles in Kona. No race this time just a run after a long bike ride.

Happy 4th of July, everyone!!

I ran 6.2 miles on Saturday. One practice lap of the Watermelon 5K road race, then the race.

This year I volunteered to be a "guide" for a blind runner. The American Council of the Blind is holding their national convention in Orlando this week.

I was paired up with Doug, a blind runner from Virginia. He has also completed two half-ironman triathlons and will be competing in "Ironman Wisconsin" in 2010!!

Doug finished 1st of the ACB runners. What an experience. Check out my blog for more info.
