VRR for the Weekend of August 22, 23, & 24
I am so impressed with this entire group!
We covered a lot of miles last week! It appears that we can easily meet our goal for the month! I know that I am scheduled for 19 miles tomorrow morning. I am planning for it already - What I'll eat tonight, what is the quick breakfast, water to carry and beautiful weather is supposed to happen! I am ready!
Report those miles! Let's make this our best month yet! Thanks everyone!

Put me down for 3.5 miles. I hit the gym and got on the treadmill for these. 3 miles run and .5 warmdown run/walk.
This sunday is my race, but that'll be 5k or less. However, I'm questioning if I can even go - I've gotten really sick since yesterday afternoon. The kind of sick where you want to stay close to home, if you know what I mean.

I ran 19.48 miles Saturday morning. Phew! Marathon training is something!

16 miles today! Warm and humid - just like Florida!

Ok my MIA is over and I'm back to being a participant again. I ran an 8 miler today... and with official marathon training in full swing expect those numbers to go up up up and away.
Tropical Storm Fay got out of town in time for an early morning run on Saturday. As Maddy said "humid" was the word for the day, but at least the rain stopped!
I ran a soggy 20 miles.
I ran 16 miles Sunday - Cut my planned 20 miler short because of some knee pain I suspect is caused by my hip pain.
I'm going to get an appointment with a chiropractor and see if that helps.
My fingers are crossed.
