Well, had hoped to run 10 with Jim and his group on Saturday but ended up running only 7 miles due to a sudden hamstring pull that prevented me from running further. I was able to walk 2 more miles until someone kindly drove me back to where we started. So total miles run/walked = 9.
Hopefully I'll be back to running next weekend but I will play it by ear and listen to my body. Luckily, no more marathons until end of Sept.
My 6 miles on Lime Creek Road is my favorite route on a weekend. Two cars, 4 motorcycles, and 8 cyclists was all I saw. Otherwise, it was me and my iPod running TWIP (this week in photography podcast- great show!). This morning at 8am was already a scorcher. I ran this almost 6 minutes slower than I usually do.
This was supposed to be my step back week, but because last week's long run never materialized, I dediced to run that distance today. Put me down for 14 miles.

Back into double digits, 10 miles on Saturday. The numbers are looking good!

Getting back in the swing with a really hard 8 miler this morning.
A correction - I didn't run that 3.2 last week....haven't run on the weekend at all this month until today.
The 3.2 should really be 5.01 run on June 30th....if we can do go backs for a previous month.
My miles will be picking up now that I am entering into my marathon training mode!
I will correct both June and July and repost both!
I got started late today. Denver reached 102 degrees. I was able to stay cool (drinking fountains, sprinklersand people washing cars).
I ran 10.47 miles.
Zero for me...
