Well, we totally blew away our original goal to run 100 miles/month by running 133.18 miles in April -- INCREDIBLE!!
This is the start of a new month, the second of four in the Run the World campaign. We will shoot for 130 miles this month and see if we might hit 150 :-)
Please post your group run mileages for the first weekend of May!

More biking than running for me this weekend (again) but I did get in 4 miles on Sunday. Next week I have a race and will run more!
Beautiful day here in the Eastern Panhandle of WV...logged 3 miles today. starting to see other runners in my neighborhood -- must be peer pressure ;)
WV Momma is the "anonymous" above.
I did a increadibly SLOW 4.8 miles this weekend. But its done. Next Saturday I'm hoping for a good old 6.2 while I'm at my Aunt's house in the bay area.
I ran the Women Run the World 15K yesterday. (1:28:02)
Mark me down for 9.3 miles!
I ran 10 on Saturday. I know this doesn't count but I biked 28 miles on Sunday, the most I've ever done.
Way to go Maddy, great time and PR.
I ran 14.19 miles Saturday. Half-marathon in less than 2 weeks!
Put me down for 8.2 miles - 7.2 miles running and 1 mile walking. I've noticed that my knee seems to get a bit achy after running this length of time. I'm thinking it's biomechanical - time to brush up on my chi-running technique. I'll have to throw that on my iPod next time around.
I'm still not making it outside to run these miles! What's with me?
Actually, I'm just really sensitive to the weather. Too hot, I'm indoors. Too cold or rainy - indoors again! But, I did manage to do a 12 mile bike ride on Sat to meet with my running group for a sat.morning low mileage run. Perfect weather at 7am for running - low 60 degrees!
And..guess what? my swimming pool just opened! Time to start practicing for my spring tri!
I managed 8.02 miles this weekend! This is the longest I have done in some time. Hoping to maintain or extend that to 10 miles for my base through the summer.
Wow! I counted 61 miles from all of us last weekend! How very cool is that?
Yes, indeed, 61.51 miles!!!
Way to go team!
Well I am jealous! Perhaps I could be the honorary walker. LOL
Susan, if you'd like to be part of VRR as a walker, we'd love to have you! I'm counting all miles, run or walked. But please don't feel that you have to walk a lot to be part of our group. Whatever you can do is fine. First and foremost, we want you to heal up!!
