Thanks, Mike! I am on the taper. I will be so glad when this one is in the bag.
Congratulations, Shirley! What a Lady! That is an achievement that I do admire you for!
Shirley? Mike? Do you ever taper? Or are you on a continual 'between marathon' training schedule? Gina? Susan? Both of you probably qualify for that, too!
I have to say it, I admire all of you for the dedication and inspiration that you provide!
Since most of my marathons are not peak performances, I really do not do much of a taper, maybe only a couple days. Depending on how far apart my marathons are, my long run the weekend before may be anywhere from 10-26 miles, the latter being another marathon :-)

12.12 miles for me. Raining in Denver so I ran the treadmill!
33 training miles and 14 days to the Seattle RnR 26.2!
I got 4 miles of run/walk distance in today! I actually feel like I'm going somewhere!
I ran 5.14 miles yesterday.
Charlie, please note: the date for the Walk or Run for the Arts 5k is in July, not June. Thanks.
Have a great day!
14 miles for me.
Time to taper Charlie, enjoy it.
Shirley, didn't get a chance to say congrats on Casper. Only 4 states to go and all are on your race schedule for this year. Great job.
Thanks Mike! Yes, hard to believe my 50 states quest is nearing its end.
NO miles run for me this weekend. I ran around a bit while spectating at a tri but won't count those ;-)
17 miles for me. And 17 weeks until Chicago 2010!
